Dove handover at Prof. Monika Führer
In a very interesting conversation with Prof. Monika Führer, we learned about the work of the Munich Paediatric Palliative Care Centre. The project “UnSichtbar” was also presented; in it, siblings of seriously ill children can show their world through photographs and thus make themselves visible.
Enthusiastic about this work, Palliativ-Portal, together with Stephanie Denzler, the Bavarian ambassador of Columba, handed over a small donation of 500 euros generated from the sale of Palliativ-Portal dove cushions. The Paediatric Palliative Care Centre also received ten of our orange cushions for young and older palliative patients. These cuddling, positioning and comfort cushions are washable at 65 degrees and therefore meet the requirements of hospital hygiene.
